The University of Delaware Writing Center will continue to support faculty teaching online for the 2021 spring semester by offering online classroom assistants, writing fellows, teaching writing consultations and short-term in-class support.
• Virtual visits: Request a Writing Center/Oral Communication Consultants Program representative for a virtual presentation on the center’s services.
• Writing/oral communication fellows: Request undergraduate fellows trained as peer tutors to support workflow and students in courses that require multiple writing assignments.
• Online classroom assistants: Request undergraduate fellow support with the logistics of online learning (taking attendance, facilitating breakout rooms, etc.).
• Individual consultations: Schedule a consultation with Writing Center staff on writing, speaking or multimodal assignments.

Please note that the deadline to request many spring services is Nov. 30.
Additionally, the Writing Center will host a three-day virtual faculty workshop on Jan. 5, 6 and 8 for faculty to reflect on fall experiences of teaching writing online and plan for their spring courses.
