University of Delaware students, faculty and staff are invited to join community neighbors at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 22, for the fourth Newark Futures Workshop on "Strengthening Newark's Nonprofit Sector."

The event will officially celebrate the launch of The Newark Partnership.

Hosted by the UD Community Engagement Initiative, Institute for Public Administration and The Newark Partnership, the workshop will provide a platform for nonprofits in Newark to come together and discuss assets, challenges and resources. Participants will also have the opportunity to weigh in on what The Newark Partnership can do to strengthen the nonprofit sector in Newark.

The workshop will immediately follow the celebratory reception for The Newark Partnership (TNP). Those wishing to attend the reception should indicate that on the registration form. The launch will occur from 5:30-6:30 p.m. with the workshop following immediately at 6:30 p.m.
