Promotion and tenure panel rescheduled
April 05, 2018
Panel discussion now set for April 18
A panel discussion on the promotion and tenure process at the University of Delaware, originally scheduled March 7 and postponed because of weather, has been rescheduled on Wednesday, April 18.
Cohosted by the ADVANCE Institute and the Office of the Provost, the panel discussion will be held from 12:30-2 p.m. in Room 218 of the Trabant University Center.
Designed for assistant professors, the session will address the overall promotion and tenure process. The panel will present a variety of perspectives from current and former members of the University and college promotion and tenure committees and recently promoted colleagues. The session will not be recorded, but notes will be posted on the ADVANCE website after the event.
Although the panel is focusing on tenured/tenure-track processes, all faculty are welcome to attend.
Refreshments will be served at all sessions.
