Library hosts bibliography workshops
September 14, 2017
Discover an easier way to cite sources in UD Library workshops
If you are looking for an easier way to handle writing citations, reference lists and bibliographies, the citation manager RefWorks can help. It organizes and stores your references and then creates properly formatted bibliographies in a wide variety of citation styles.
Learn more about how RefWorks can save you considerable time and frustration during the University of Delaware Library’s “Save Time with RefWorks: Your Personal Bibliography Tool” workshop.
Topics covered in this hands-on workshop include importing and organizing references, attaching and annotating PDFs, collaborating on research, generating a bibliography and creating in-text citations.
By exploring this tool now, you will have more time to dedicate to research and less concern about how to create proper citations.
This workshop will be held three times throughout the semester: on Tuesday, Sept. 19, from 2-3:30 p.m.; Wednesday, Oct. 4, from 2-3:30 p.m.; and Wednesday, Nov. 1, from 2-3:30 p.m.
Register here for the Sept. 19 workshop; here for the Oct. 4 workshop; and here for the Nov. 1 workshop.
All three workshops will take place in Room 114 of Morris Library. Librarian Dianna McKellar will lead the Sept. 19 workshop; Associate Librarian Rebecca Knight will lead the Oct. 4 workshop; and Associate Librarian William Simpson will lead the Nov. 1 workshop.
Undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend.
While workshops are free of charge, registration is required as seating is limited. For a complete listing of Library workshops, visit library.udel.edu/workshops.
All visitors need photo identification to enter the Morris Library. Visitors with UD ONEcards can use this identification at the turnstiles for easy access to the Library. If you do not have a UD ONEcard, you will need a state-issued ID (a driver’s license, a government-issued or school-issued photo ID, etc.) to enter the Library.
