Confucius Institute, CSSA invite Blue Hens to celebrate Year of the Rooster
The Confucius Institute and the University of Delaware Chinese Student and Scholar Association will host their annual Chinese New Year Gala at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 18, in Mitchell Hall. The event is open to the public.
Various art performances, including traditional Chinese singing, folk and pop dances will be featured during the celebration. A performance by Vocal Point, a UD student a cappella group, will be a highlight of the event.
Tickets are available online and may be purchased at the door, depending on availability. For information concerning pricing or to reserve tickets in advance, visit the event website.
The Confucius Institute and Chinese Student and Scholar Association have presented the Chinese New Year Gala for five continuous years with the goal of fostering an understanding of Chinese culture and to strengthen local connections, enriching the UD student experience, both international and domestic.
