Meet Office of Dean of Students
September 06, 2016
Students invited to meet advocates, learn about resources
The Office of the Dean of Students, part of the University of Delaware’s Division of Student Life, will hold a fall event series to offer undergraduate students the opportunity to meet the staff.
This office provides students with the support, resources, and referrals that can help them succeed at UD, and is a great place to start for students who have a question, a concern, or a problem to solve, but do not know where to begin.
A meet-and-greet will be held on Thursday, Sept. 15, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Perkins Student Center concourse. Students will have the opportunity to meet some of their biggest fans and enjoy fresh popcorn.
Students are encouraged to bring any questions they may have that the office can help answer. An interest sheet will be available at this event for an exclusive student luncheon at Vita Nova restaurant, which will provide additional opportunities to discuss experiences and concerns with the staff.
A second meet-and-greet will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 7, from 1 to 2:30 p.m., also in the Perkins Student Center concourse.
The Office of the Dean of Students is located in Hullihen Hall, Room 101, and can be reached any time at deanofstudents@udel.edu or at 302-831-8939. Walk-ins are always welcome.
