This year on GivingTuesday, held Nov. 28, the University of Delaware community invites Blue Hens and friends to support the 130+ fundraising projects featured on HenFunder, UD’s crowdfunding platform.

Led by UD students, faculty, staff and alumni, each fundraising initiative provides opportunities for Blue Hens to grow and thrive in the classroom, on the field, on stage, in the lab and even abroad. From scholarships and experiential learning experiences to diversity initiatives, extracurricular activities and athletic programs, there are options for every Blue Hen to fuel their passions.

“GivingTuesday has inspired philanthropy for the past 11 years, inviting the global community to give back during the holiday season,” said Jim Dicker, vice president of Development and Alumni Relations. “When I consider all that the University of Delaware offers our students and the broader community, I have no doubt that this year’s featured fundraising projects will resonate with every Blue Hen and friend.”

In addition to these specific fundraising priorities, the University continues to feature the Blue Hen Strong Fund, which provides critical resources, opportunities and experiences to help current students thrive and grow at UD and beyond.
