The Employee Development Department in the University of Delaware’s Office of Human Resources is now offering several certificate programs to full-time UD employees. Courses in each program include in-person workshops and online modules.

Management Essentials – Managers will learn strategies for dealing with conflict, performance and how to effectively cultivate a culture of respect. Most of the online modules include policies and practices specific to UD.

UD Financials – Participants will learn about UD’s financial system including how to effectively use UDataGlance and MS Excel.

UD HR Fundamentals – Participants will learn about UD’s human resources activities, particularly those that require filling out forms such as the JED.
