WHY AN ART HISTORY/LANGUAGE STUDIES JOINT MAJOR?
Blend your interests in Art History, languages, literatures and cultures through an Art History/Language Studies Joint Major degree. Sharpen your visual skills, develop your writing abilities, and spark your imagination with images, objects and buildings, all while studying a language and engaging with our multicultural, changing world.
Choose from nine joint majors, which streamline the requirements of the Art History Major and those of your selected language and culture major, to create room for minors and internships.* Joint majors are also encouraged to take advantage of the University’s excellent study abroad programs.
*All ARTH/Language joint majors have reduced requirements from the stand-alone Art History Major and Language Studies Major.
