


Graduate College associate dean, academic affairs search candidates

Town halls June 17 and 18
Candidates for the position of associate dean, academic affairs in the University of Delaware Graduate College will participate in town hall meetings on Tuesday, June 17, and Wednesday, June 18.
At the town halls, which will both be held from 2-3 p.m. in Mitchell Hall, each candidate will present their vision for academic affairs, followed by a question-and-answer session. The Graduate College welcomes and relies upon participation and feedback from UD's graduate community.
Biographical information about each candidate is available to UD faculty and staff using their UDelNet ID and password at the web page below. A recording of each town hall, along with a form for submitting feedback, will be posted on the same web page. The web page will remain live until June 23, after which the search committee will convene to review faculty, staff and student feedback and make a recommendation to the dean of the Graduate College.
Reporting to the dean of the Graduate College, the associate dean, academic affairs supports and builds upon the graduate enterprises on campus by streamlining existing processes and systems used by staff across campus, and supporting faculty in creating, sustaining and advancing graduate opportunities. The associate dean, academic affairs provides strategic leadership for the Graduate College’s programs and provides academic advice and support for the creation of new academic programs and pathways.
