Editor's note: This article was updated April 29 to include the extension of the deadline for nominations to May 4.

Nominations of undergraduate and graduate students to serve on the President’s Student Advisory Council (PSAC) for the 2025-26 academic year are being accepted now, with the deadline extended to May 4.

Launched in 2022, PSAC meets regularly with President Dennis Assanis and other senior administrative leaders to provide input on multiple student-centered topics, including the University’s accomplishments and its challenges. Through meaningful dialogue, workable recommendations will be developed to address students’ feedback on various issues. This year, PSAC members have provided feedback on a host of campus issues with deep dives into student success, high-impact practices and creating community on campus.

PSAC is composed of about 18 undergraduate and graduate students who represent a diversity of perspectives and facets of UD life, including gender, race, class standing, major, passions and co-curricular involvement.

Nominations may be submitted by faculty or staff. Nominated students will be sent an application, and applicants will be reviewed by the Division of Student Life for their academic standing to move forward in the process. Please note that not every nominated student will be invited to join the Council.

The nomination form is available here. A UDelNET login is required.
