

Facilities upgrades customer work request notification system

Enhancements include new email notifications and courtesy reminders
The Facilities, Real Estate and Auxiliary Services (FREAS) unit has upgraded its Customer Work Order Notification System. The upgrade has many enhancements that will provide members of the University community with additional communication and information for their routine facilities work requests.
Some examples of the expanded communications include new email notifications when a work order is created, delayed, rescheduled or has a customer communication note added. Additionally, courtesy reminders will be sent if a work order hasn’t had an update in two weeks.
FREAS has also enhanced the formatting and information of the emails to be more informative and easier to read.
The campus community is encouraged to use the online Fixit form to report routine facilities problems or email the pertinent information to fixit@udel.edu. For urgent and emergency maintenance requests, please call 302-831-1141 around the clock, 24/7/365.
