University of Delaware Transportation Services has announced the arrival of a free and easy to use mobile app for the shuttle bus system.

The UDShuttle app provides real-time arrival information for the campus shuttle bus system.

Members of the UD community can use the app to mark favorite stops and routes, set reminders, get alerts, plan trips, provide feedback and access general information.

Those who use the app also can track buses in real-time on the live map to see their exact location and receive estimated arrival times at bus stops.

Features will help users:

• Locate nearby bus stops.

• Search for bus stops by tapping on the map.

• Get GPS real-time information.

• Get published bus schedules.

• Track the current bus location.

• Watch the bus live moving on the map.

• Bookmark your favorite stops.

• Get latest news and information on the UDShuttle app.

• Send comments and feedback to the bus administration.

The UDShuttle app is available for download from the Apple Store for iPhone or GooglePlay for Android.

Once installed, the user will see a map showing their location, and can click on icons to find active routes, current bus positions and a list of stops, among other information.
