Learning EDGE launches Monday, March 30
Learning EDGE is HR’s new, university-wide learning management system designed to empower every employee, faculty, staff and student workers, with the tools, resources, and personalized pathways needed to grow, excel and lead.
ConnectingU Blackout Period
starts Friday, March 13
To ensure a smooth transition to Learning EDGE, our current learning management system ConnectingU, will be taken offline during a brief blackout period while we migrate data and prepare for launch.
ConnectingU will be unavailable for use starting Friday, March 13 at 7:00 p.m.
During this time:
- You will not be able to access resources or complete any training in ConnectingU.
- Any in-progress courses offered within the current system must be completed before the blackout period begins.
- Required training deadlines that fall within this window will need to be adjusted.
- NOTE: LinkedIn Learning platform (and content) will not be impacted during blackout.

Learning EDGE will replace ConnectingU on March 30, and represents a major step forward in how we support professional development, compliance training, and continuous learning across our campus community. Key features include:
Learning paths - Whether you’re onboarding, advancing in your role or exploring new skills, the platform curates learning experiences tailored to your role, responsibilities and professional goals.
Centralized content and resources – Learning materials: videos, documents, courses and modules can now live in one unified platform.
Compliance made simple – Staying compliant is essential, and the platform has automated workflows and reminders in addition to audit-ready tracking and reporting.
Dashboards for both managers and learners – Intuitive dashboards will provide employees with greater visibility of their learning history. In addition, managers gain team-level view to monitor progress and support employee development more effectively.
Advanced analytics – The platform provides powerful insights into learning progress, skill development, and training completion. These analytics help improve programs to ensure we are building for the capabilities that our workforce needs.

These monthly learning sessions are delivered by UD's Employee Assistance Program provider by experts in the fields of emotional and mental health. Participants will explore topics like resilience, burnout prevention, healthy communication, parenting and caregiving.
