- Can provide behind-the-scenes insight into the inner workings of the Olympics; he is currently Director of the International Coaching Enrichment Certificate Program (ICECP) and the International Coaching Apprenticeship in Basketball (ICAB).
- Areas of expertise include international sports governance and the differences between the U.S. sports model and models in other countries as well as the use of sports as a diplomatic tool.
- Has collaborated with the NBA, U.S. Soccer, South African Olympic Committee and basketball federations in Turkey, India and Ireland.
- In 2020, was named to the President’s Council on Sport, Fitness, Sports and Nutrition Science Board for The United States of America Department of Health and Human Services.
