Areas of Expertise
- Major research focus is renewable energy transition. Firestone analyzes human behavior related to commercial-scale deployment (e.g., offshore wind power) and personal decision-making (e.g., rooftop solar and electric vehicles), along with planning and decision-making.
- Directs UD Center for Research in Wind (CReW) and is knowledgeable about renewable energy, climate change policy, wildlife conservation and management.
