Biotechnology: PSM, Certificate

The Department of Biological Sciences offers the professional science masters in biotechnology degree and a graduate certificate in biotechnology. The PSM in biotechnology combines coursework in the core life science disciplines as well as in other scientific disciplines relevant to biotechnology, 15 credits of business coursework from the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics, and a six-month industrial internship to give students real-world experience in biotechnology. Both the PSM and certificate can be pursued part time and are an ideal choice for those working in industry who want to expand their training while continuing to work.
