Dalia Shvartsman attends Castleman Quartet Program

PROGRAM: Master of Music (Violin Performance)
My experience with the Castleman Quartet program was nothing short of incredible. Over seven weeks, I was placed in two viola quintets, one by one by Dvorak and the other by Brahms (the former of which I played violin for, and the latter, on the viola), followed by sonata week where I learned and preformed the first Brahms sonata for violin and piano. To receive guidance from the legendary Charles Castleman was eye-opening, and to be coached by other musicians like Phil and David Ying, Laura Bossert and Terry King, was inspiring and revitalizing as I delve into my 2nd year of graduate studies.
