PROGRAM: M.S. in Plant and Soil Sciences

I had the privilege of attending the 2025 American Society for Horticultural Science (ASHS) Conference, a premier gathering of researchers, students, and industry leaders in horticultural science. During the conference, I presented in two competitions, the Scholar’s Ignite and the Controlled Environment Oral Competition, and was honored to receive third place in the Scholar’s Ignite.

The event was an excellent platform to share my research and engage with students from universities across the U.S., as well as scientists and industry professionals in horticultural science. Attending ASHS 2025 was an invaluable professional and personal experience, providing opportunities to exchange ideas, receive constructive feedback, and explore future career directions. I am deeply grateful to the Graduate College Travel Award for supporting my participation and enabling me to represent our university on a national stage.
