Middle States Accreditation
A MESSAGE FROM THE CO-CHAIRS
The University of Delaware is engaged in the process of reaffirming our accreditation from the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). This process, with a tentative completion date expected in 2028, provides the UD community with an opportunity to thoughtfully reflect on our mission and our impact by assessing the effectiveness of our work, ultimately strengthening our institution for the future.
This is a collaborative effort that relies on the dedication and diligence of faculty, staff and students throughout the University and the Board of Trustees. We are deeply grateful for the hard work of the members of our Steering Committee and the Working Groups who are examining the University’s operations as they relate to each of the Middle States’ Standards for Accreditation and Requirements of Affiliation. Every member of the UD community will have the opportunity to share their perspective..
This website will serve as the primary source of information about the reaffirmation process and opportunities for community involvement. We encourage everyone at the University of Delaware to be engaged in this important initiative.
