The Office of General Counsel provides guidance and resources to help navigate the University of Delaware’s regulatory obligations and ethical principles pertaining to creating and using personally identifiable data and for respecting a person’s wishes about how to be contacted, if at all. We focus on upholding the University’s core values, facilitating solutions, enhancing a culture of compliance and ethics, and balancing compliance with mission-driven activities. We work closely with Information Technology and Research to realize these goals in collaboration with units, colleges, and departments across campus.
