Program Evaluation: Certificate

About this program

The program evaluation graduate certificate, offered 100% online, is intended to prepare students in the basics of program evaluation across the fields of human services, education, public policy, health and other program and policy areas through thoughtful, effective and ethical use of evaluation models and methods. Aligned with the American Evaluation Association’s Guiding Principles for Evaluators and Evaluator Competencies, the certificate can be completed in one year of part-time study.

Certificate admission requires a bachelor’s degree. Students may apply at any time; applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Certificates can be completed in one year of part-time study.

For students who choose to pursue UD’s master of science in evaluation science, all 12 credits from the certificate can be applied toward the M.S. degree.
