The program provides students with the knowledge, skills, tools and tactics to turn data into value.

This emerging multidisciplinary field studies information systems utilizing data produced and used in the financial services industry, with a primary focus on scientific inquiry, innovation in business functions, and ultimately improved efficiency and effectiveness of the financial services industry for economic and societal benefit.
In today's fast-moving and innovative financial services industry, new products are developed, brought to market and commoditized perhaps more quickly than in any other industry. Technology has always been essential to the financial services industry.
Designed in response to the growing needs of the industry and the popularity of UD’s Ph.D. in financial services analytics, the program challenges students to apply modern data science techniques, such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, to analyze and solve real-world problems.
