PROGRAM: Marine Policy, M.M.P.

I had the incredible opportunity to represent the University of Delaware and the School of Marine Science and Policy at the 2026 Ocean Sciences Meeting in Glasgow, Scotland. During my time in my master's program, I have been studying the spatial and temporal relationships between marine mammal strandings and policy implementation along the U.S. East Coast and was able to share my findings with the ocean science and policy community. This presentation was presented in poster format which gave me the chance to have more intimate conversations about my research with people from different stages of their careers and across multiple disciples.

Attending and presenting at this conference gave me the opportunity to network with people, expand my knowledge on ocean-related research, and present at the international level for the very first time. I learned so much from this experience and engaged with so many people from around the world!
