Digital Music
Digital Music is being postponed until Fall 2025! We look forward to seeing you then!
The Digital Music class is for those who like to tinker around with online music making! Class will focus on key aspects of music production including sound design, composition, sampling, recording, and editing. Projects may vary from student to student, based on the students’ interests and experience levels, but will focus around melody, harmony, rhythm, and form. We will use a free, online, Digital Audio Workstation called "BandLab." The only required piece of equipment is either a laptop or iPad. Students are welcome to bring their own MIDI keyboard if they have one, but it is not a course requirement.

Yes! A PC, laptop, or Chromebook will work.
Yes, although an iPad would be using a different version of BandLab made for iOS, so the participant’s screen might not match up with the instructor’s screen. That being said, it still works if needed!
No but you’re welcome to bring one if you have it.
