Digital Music

The Digital Music class is for those who like to tinker around with online music making and/or midi keyboards! Class will focus on key aspects of music production including sound design, composition/arranging, sampling, recording and editing. Projects can be customized to suit students’ interests. The only required piece of equipment is either a laptop or iPad. Students are welcome to bring their own MIDI keyboard if they have one, otherwise one will be provided for use in class.

Consent Forms must be completed annually, per academic year, and returned to CMS prior to, or on, the first day of class. The end of semester performance, Showcase, is often livestreamed, photographed, and/or video recorded. Therefore, all forms are required for participation, including the Photo Waiver. Click here for consent forms. (Enrolled participants will also be sent the consent forms via email from communitymusicschool@udel.edu, prior to the first day of class.)
