Community Outreach
The University of Delaware's School of Music has a strong focus on community engagement and outreach through its Community Music School (UDCMS) program. The UDCMS serves as the outreach arm of the University's music department, providing music lessons, classes, and ensemble opportunities for students of all ages and skill levels in the local community.
In addition to the UDCMS, the University of Delaware's music school also partners with other local arts and educational organizations to offer various music festivals and camps that unite the community through shared musical experiences.
