Information for Twirlers
UD Twirler Day will be held on Saturday, September 19, with an 11:30 a.m. kickoff. The day begins with a 7:00 a.m. check in followed by a rehearsal with the full UDMB and a clinic featuring University of Delaware Golden Girls. Lunch (prior to kickoff) and a game day ticket will be provided by the band for each participant. We will then march with the band in the pre-game parade and end in the stadium. Twirlers will watch the first quarter of the game and then practice and get ready for the halftime show where the twirlers will be showcased. After the performance, twirlers will be dismissed.
This wonderful opportunity allows current twirlers to have a college game day experience with a Division 1 college marching band. If you have any questions, email our Golden Girl Instructor, Deena Frank, at dlf2@comcast.net.
To register, please complete the UD Twirler Day 2026 application by September 1, 2026. Please be on the lookout for an email with important information regarding a video of the game day routine and specific information about meeting location and parking.
