Community Choral Programs
The University of Delaware choral program offers singers the opportunity to experience technical excellence and meaningful music making through two community choral programs. The programs are under the direction of Unidel Professor of Music and Director of Choral Studies Paul D. Head.
Schola Cantorum
Schola Cantorum is the Symphonic Choir at the University of Delaware that is open to current students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members who love to sing! Under the direction of Paul D. Head, Schola regularly performs large works such as Orff's Carmina Burana, Brahms' Requiem, Mozart's C Minor Mass, and Rutter's Gloria with the UD, Newark, and Delaware Symphony Orchestras.
Auditions for Schola are held in the fall and spring each year. Interested singers should complete an interest form (linked below).
Rehearsals: Tuesdays, 7:30-9:30 p.m., Room 118, Amy E. duPont Music Building
