Spring Break Housing
Traditional and suite-style residence halls close for Spring Break and residents must vacate their hall by 7 p.m. on March 20. Halls reopen at noon on March 29. Apartment-style halls stay open and residents have access to their units, so do not need to vacate or apply to stay during the break.
Those who need a late stay (until 10 a.m. Saturday, March 21) or need to stay on campus for any portion of the break must complete a Spring Break application in the My Housing Portal between February 23 and March 19 at 5pm.
2026–2027 First-Year Student Housing
Newly admitted, first-year students are required to live on-campus for the academic year of their admittance. The housing application for Fall 2026 first-year admits joining the Newark campus is expected to open by early April. Watch here for more details.
2026–2027 Graduate Student Housing
The application for Graduate Student Housing for the 2026 - 2027 academic year is now open. Students can apply in their My Housing Portal. The priority deadline for the Graduate Student Housing Application is June 30, 2026.
2026–2027 Returning Student Housing Application Closed
Students who applied by the deadline received an email notifying them whether they are guaranteed housing and next steps in the assignment process.
We are not accepting additional applications at this time. We will open a late application later in the spring or early summer for eligible students who missed the deadline, but housing is not guaranteed and will depend on space availability. Updates will be provided in the My Housing Portal.
