Thanksgiving Break
Students living in the residence halls (except apartments) should plan to leave the halls no later than 7 p.m. on Friday, November 20, when halls close for the break.
To request a late stay or to stay on campus for any portion of the break, complete the Thanksgiving Break application in the My Housing Portal available October 6–November 19, 5 p.m. Apartment residents will keep access to their unit during the break and don't need to check out or complete a break application.
2027–2028 Returning Student Housing
The returning student housing application for the 2027–2028 academic year will open in early February. Check back for additional details.
Returning students are not required to live on campus.
New for 2027–2028: Second-year housing is guaranteed for first-time freshmen admitted during the 2026–2027 academic year who apply by the deadline.
Housing for all other returning students is not guaranteed. Interested students must apply by the deadline to be considered for a space. In recent years, we have been able to offer a space to all students who applied by the deadline.
