In observance of Suicide Prevention Awareness Month this September, the Division of Student Life’s Student Wellbeing department is hosting several offerings of a two-hour suicide prevention training called Campus Connect.

Across the United States, suicide is the second leading cause of death for college students. By engaging the UD community in trainings like Campus Connect, participants will be better able to identify warning signs and improve their ability to connect students to essential mental health resources. We hope you join us for one of our training offerings:

  • Monday, September 12, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.

  • Friday, September 16, 2–4 p.m.

  • Monday, September 19, 9–11 a.m.

  • Wednesday, September 21, 12–2 p.m.

  • Tuesday, September 27, 11 a.m.–1 p.m.

Please RSVP using this form. Trainings will be held in 101 Warner Hall and light refreshments will be served. Any questions can be directed to Helen Ann Lawless, Director, Strategic Wellbeing & Training via email at hlawless@udel.edu.
