Big Day of Service

The Big Day of Service is an opportunity for students to serve their community as well as learn about how local organizations are making a difference and improving the community. A variety of service options will be offered so everyone has a chance to do something they are interested in. Participants are encouraged to bring a friend or members of their RSO and volunteer together!

When: Saturday, May 2, 2026, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.

Where: Various community service sites

Details

All participants will be placed in groups to serve with one of our local community partners. Participants may indicate their preference for type of work and we will do our best to accommodate. Groups can volunteer together; they just need to list their group name when they register. All volunteers will be provided with a T-shirt, as well as breakfast, snacks and the community cookout for dinner. Transportation is provided to and from the service sites.
