Job Shadow Programs
Job Shadow Program
Program paused for winter 2027
As we look toward the future of the Job Shadow Program, we are taking an intentional pause and will not be offering the program during the upcoming 2027 Winter Session cycle. This time will allow us to evaluate the program's impact, gather feedback and explore new possibilities to ensure it continues to provide meaningful opportunities for students.
We appreciate the interest and support of our campus community and look forward to what lies ahead. We will share updates as our plans develop.
About the Program
Job shadowing may include workplace tours, meeting with key members of an organization and participation in daily workplace activities.
The program matches UD students with alumni and employers who are currently working as professionals for either a one-day, in-person job shadow or a one-on-one, one-hour virtual informational interview.
This an unpaid opportunity.
Why Participate?
The Job Shadow Program allows students to learn more about various professions, receive career-related advice and reflect on how their education can prepare them for life after college.
Program Timeline
The 2027 Winter Job Shadow cycle is paused while the program is redesigned.
Updated application dates and program details will be available in spring 2027.
