About Panhellenic Council

The Panhellenic Council serves as the governing body for the University of Delaware’s National Panhellenic Conference sororities. Member delegates serve as role models, dedicated to uphold good scholarship and high standards of ethical conduct, while promoting friendship, harmony and unity among members, chapters, faculty, administration and campus groups.

Recruitment

Panhellenic hosts a primary recruitment at the start of the spring semester. Registration for this process opens in the middle of the fall semester, and the registration fee is due upon registration. Continuous recruitment happens in both the fall and spring semesters for eligible chapters.

If you are interested in continuous open recruitment, please complete the UD Greek Registration below.

Eligibility

To be eligible to participate in formal recruitment, a student must have a 2.50 cumulative college GPA and have earned 12 credit hours (no exceptions are made for either requirement). Winter Session credits and grades will not be included toward determining eligibility for participation in recruitment.

Transfer Students

Transfer students: If you do not have a UD GPA, transcripts showing GPA and credit hours must be submitted from your most recent previous institution. The same requirements apply. Transcripts can be submitted via email (with screenshots).
