About Panhellenic Council

The Panhellenic Council serves as the governing body for the University of Delaware’s National Panhellenic Conference sororities. Member delegates serve as role models, dedicated to uphold good scholarship and high standards of ethical conduct, while promoting friendship, harmony and unity among members, chapters, faculty, administration and campus groups.

Recruitment

 

Panhellenic hosts a primary recruitment at the start of the spring semester. Registration for this process opens in the middle of the fall semester, and the registration fee is due upon registration. Continuous recruitment happens in both the fall and spring semesters for eligible chapters.

Eligibility

To be eligible to participate in formal recruitment, a student must have a 2.50 cumulative college GPA. Fall Continuous Open Bidding (COB) is limited to upper division studetns. First-year students must wait until Spring Primary Recruitment or COB thereafter. Winter Session will not be included toward determining eligibility during primary recruitment.
