The UD student-athlete career readiness office supports the professional development of all student-athletes and connects businesses to an elite talent pool.
Programming includes one-on-one coaching, career exploration and mentoring, job shadowing and internships, networking events, and more.
Everything allows student-athletes to capitalize on the skills they’re developing in their respective sports, gain valuable professional experience, and stand out among the competition.

Accelerated Internship Program
- Because of athletic commitments, it can be difficult for some student-athletes to complete traditional summer internship programs.
- The Accelerated Internship Program allows student-athletes and business to work together on an alternative timeline throughout the calendar year.
- Application information will be shared with all student-athletes following a planning call and verification process with the participating business.
