When Adam Savage visited the National Park Service Museum Conservation Lab in Harper’s Ferry, WV, for the online series Tested, National Council for Preservation Education intern Ellie Fitzgerald (WUDPAC Class of 2028) showed Savage how specialized scanning and printing techniques were used in the innovative restoration of a damaged early 20th-century Sunbonnet Sue quilt from Cane River Creole National Historical Park.
