Research Interests

My research focuses on undergraduate mathematics education, specifically in introductory and lower-level courses. I am interested in supporting students' transitions to college mathematics, identifying high-impact practices, developing equitable assessments, and helping students develop skills as learners in addition to their mathematics content. I also have interests in statistics education; my dissertation explored how introductory statistics courses were preparing students to engage with statistics they encounter in the news.
