Biography
Juntao Huang is an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Delaware. He received his Ph.D. in applied mathematics in 2018 and dual bachelor's degrees in mathematics and engineering mechanics in 2013, both from Tsinghua University, China. He was a visiting assistant professor at Michigan State University from 2018 to 2022, followed by a faculty position at Texas Tech University from 2022 to 2025. He joined the University of Delaware in 2025. His research focuses on the design and analysis of high-order numerical methods for partial differential equations (PDEs) and the integration of machine learning techniques into traditional scientific computing frameworks.
