Anjali Nair
Biography
I am an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Delaware. Before joining UD, I was a William H. Kruskal Instructor at the University of Chicago. I earned my doctorate in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2023.
My research focuses on the mathematical analysis, simulation and inference of physical systems governed by multiscale partial differential equations, including stochastic equations. Recent work explores wave propagation in random media and kinetic theory, with applications in optical communication, imaging and material design.
