Art Conservation Club
Love art, history, science, or hands-on making? The student-led Art Conservation Club welcomes all students—both majors and non-majors—who are passionate about preserving material culture! Joining the club is the best way to deepen your skills, make lifelong friends, and prepare for your career.
What We Do & Events
- Hands-on and creative: Terra-cotta pot smashing and reassembly workshops, holiday craft nights, and joint projects with the Knit & Crochet club for charity.
- Social and fun: Our annual gala in Old College Hall, pumpking painting, horror movie nights, and chemistry study groups.
- Field trips and excursions: Group trips to world-class museums around the tri-state area, from Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library and the Smithsonian to the Penn Museum and MoMA
- Peer and graduate mentorship: Connect directly with upperclassmen and graduate students from the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation (WUDPAC).
