The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) at the University of Delaware has unveiled its newly redesigned website. CAS has transitioned to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), a university-supported platform that enhances user experience, content management and digital inclusivity.

While many of the old links will automatically redirect to the new location, we encourage all visitors to update their bookmarks to reflect the new site at udel.edu/cas

Process and Goals

The project involved examining nearly 12,000 web pages from all CAS departments, programs and centers. Using web analytics and guidance from various campus partners, the content was organized and consolidated to make the best possible experience for the user.

The result is a resource that can be used for marketing to prospective students while providing meaningful information to current students and faculty. The site showcases the diverse disciplines students can explore within the college, utilizing an inclusive approach to promote interdisciplinary learning and collaboration, while emphasizing how each program contributes to student success, aligning with the college’s core mission.

Showcasing a vibrant college

The website paints a vivid picture of campus culture, academic rigor and future opportunities, allowing young adults to envision themselves thriving at UD. By prioritizing user experience and delivering relevant, engaging content, this new website can inspire and empower prospective students to make informed decisions about their educational journey and future career aspirations.

Notable updates include a focus on external audiences, a dedicated page for arts on campus and dynamic feeds that integrate news and events across various sections such as faculty bios and program pages. It also adheres to established accessibility standards, ensuring an equitable online environment for all users.

With Gratitude

The College of Arts and Sciences Communications and IT teams extend their gratitude to everyone who contributed updated and new content, making the site vibrant and engaging. This truly was a team effort!
