Supporting Scholarships, Research and the Arts

The University of Delaware’s College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) marked GivingTuesday with strong early momentum to power student success, faculty research and community impact across the college.

Part of UD’s global day of giving on the HenFunder platform, CAS projects span scholarships, experiential learning and the arts. Highlights include support for the Center for Global and Area Studies, Delaware Choral Scholars: European Grand Prix, Department of English: Undergraduate Internships, the Department of Theatre and Dance, Fashion and Apparel Studies, the Legal Professional Preparatory Program, UD Journalism: Statehouse News Fellowship and the WUDPAC Founders and Directors Award Endowment.

“GivingTuesday has inspired incredible philanthropy around the world, and we’re so grateful for the impact the day will have on the UD community,” said Beth Brand, vice president of Development and Alumni Relations. “Donor support bolsters research, student groups, scholarships and so much more. It ensures our Blue Hens can follow their dreams and pursue their passions.”
