2024 FASH Alumni Panel Discussion
Join us for a panel discussion with our recent graduates on Tuesday, March 12 from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. (Eastern) on Zoom. Panelists will share how the University of Delaware Department of Fashion and Apparel Studies has prepared them for their careers. Learn about the companies they are working for, how they landed their jobs and much more!

A 2023 University of Delaware graduate with a BS in Fashion Merchandising and a minor in Business Administration, Zach Blackman was involved in several activities while he attended UD such as the Fashion Merchandising Club and Beta Theta Pi - Theta Alpha Chapter where he was Vice President in both groups. Zach also secured an internship with Abercrombie and Fitch and worked with Abercrombie as well as Cecile Boutique where he learned retail from the ground up. Upon graduation, Zach was hired as an assistant buyer with Abercrombie and Fitch.
A 2022 graduate of the University of Delaware with a BS in Fashion Merchandising, Hollan Brockenbrough also participated in the FIT Visiting Student Program and earned an associate degree from FIT in Fashion Business Management. While at UD, Hollan interned at QVC in merchandise buying and influencer marketing (3 different internships!) and was a fashion marketing intern at Thierry Lasry. After graduation, Hollan worked for A Gold Consulting as a Brand Assistant and is now a Public Relations Assistant at KMJR World, a Global PR agency in New York City.
Graduating in 2023 with a BS in Fashion Design and Product Innovation and a minor in Fashion History and Culture, Sarah Buoni was active in several student groups during her years at UD. Sarah served as the co-president of Synergy Fashion Group and traveled to Paris as part of the study abroad program. In addition, she completed several internships as an undergraduate student. Sarah is now living in New York City and is an Assistant Fashion Designer for the Fashion River Group.
Alessandra Cicchino graduated with a BS in Fashion Merchandising and a minor in International Business from the University of Delaware in 2015. She participated in many organizations and activities while at UD such as Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, UDress Magazine, Synergy Fashion Group, Fashion Merchandising Club, and Relay for Life Committee. Since graduation, Alessandra worked in the fashion industry in several different roles such as Assistant Buyer @ Tommy Hilfiger, Associate Buyer @ The Children’s Place and a variety of positions at Saks Fifth Avenue where she is currently Senior Manager of Category Growth in Women’s Designer Ready-to-Wear.
