Connecting to Eduroam

Having Trouble Connecting to eduroam on an Apple Device?

Having trouble connecting to eduroam on your MacBook, iPhone, or iPad? If you’re unable to connect, try these alternative connection methods. If you’re connected but experiencing slow or inconsistent performance, Apple’s Private Relay feature may be contributing to the issue. Try temporarily turning off Private Relay and reconnecting to eduroam. For additional troubleshooting steps, see the UD Knowledge Base article on Apple device connectivity.

To help University of Delaware students and employees connect their new phones, tablets, or computers to the eduroam Wi-Fi network, we recommend using the Get Started at UD Wi-Fi network first.

The videos below provide step-by-step instructions on how to connect your device to eduroam using this method. If you are a visitor, please use the UDel_Guest network, and for browserless devices like gaming consoles, register them for the UD Devices network.
