Resources for Faculty & Staff
Fall Semester News
A critical ongoing initiative is the Google and M365 Storage Project, which addresses new vendor limits on storage for higher education institutions. This project is vital for managing our institutional data and security, and high-storage users should actively review the Project Overview and manage their accounts.
For faculty and staff engaged in research and teaching innovation, the Generative AI Pilot Program is a fantastic opportunity to explore cutting-edge tools. Proposals are currently being accepted to test how GenAI can enhance administrative operations, research, or academic projects, with approved teams receiving necessary tool licensing. Furthermore, the DARWIN High Performance Computing (HPC) system is available for class and research use at no cost, but all Allocation Requests require a minimum two-week processing time, so please plan accordingly.
We also remind everyone to bookmark the IT Service Status page for real-time information on any system outages or scheduled maintenance for core services.
As a general security reminder, please perform routine updates to your operating system and applications (like Office and Zoom) to protect your work and the University network.
