IELTS Preparation Course

IELTS Preparation Course

The IELTS Preparation course develops students’ language and test-taking skills for the IELTS examination.

Open to full- and part-time ELI students or as a standalone course.

For levels 4, 5 and 6.

Course objectives

  • Familiarize students with the format and directions of the test;
  • Practice the types of questions that are asked in each section;
  • Develop the English language skills that are necessary to be successful on the test.

We will focus on answering the reading section, improving listening comprehension, addressing the speaking prompts, and writing the data commentary.

A note about visa requirements

Online sections of the course are available to all students anywhere in the world!

Please note that, when offered in person, this course alone does not satisfy the requirements for meeting the minimum hours of study required on a student visa.

Most students in the in-person IELTS preparation course are also enrolled in the Intensive English Program and meet the requirements necessary to obtain a student visa.
