Research Interests/Biography

Dr. Mosley is a member of the teaching team that concentrates on the integrated introductory biology and chemistry course sequence for life science majors. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry at Duke University. In addition to biophysical chemistry, she is very interested in chemical education. Prior to coming to the University of Delaware, she completed postdoctoral work in chemistry education at Michigan State University. Her research interests center broadly around undergraduate student success and also include exploring the impact of online resources on student learning, developing and studying the impact of interventions that build student understanding of mathematics, and investigating how students’ identities as scientists affects their success in their chemistry courses/major/degree program.
