Research Interests/Biography
Dr. Christopher J. Presloid is a member of the teaching team that concentrates on the integrated introductory biology and chemistry course sequence for college of arts and sciences, and life science majors. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry, with a focus on Molecular Biology from Penn State University, Berks campus. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Biological Sciences with a focus on Molecular Biology and Genetics at the University of Delaware.
Dr. Presloid’s research interests focus on protein recognition and degradation including but not limited to Mycobacterium tuberculosis. With the ISLL team he is focussed on developing active learning opportunities with students, and has an interest in improving scientific communication.
