Biography
Alexis Garner is a Temporary Assistant Professor in the Department of Linguistics and Cognitive Science at the University of Delaware. She teaches undergraduate courses for students on the pre-professional track in speech-language pathology, helping prepare them for graduate study and clinical careers. In addition to her academic role, she continues to practice as a speech-language pathologist at Christiana Care, ensuring her teaching remains grounded in current clinical experience. Her work centers on bridging clinical practice and academic preparation to support the next generation of SLPs
