Winterthur Fellowship Program
These fellowships support advanced research in the collections at Winterthur. Open to graduate students, independent scholars, and professionals in various fields, fellows are expected to be in residence and participate in seminars and scholarly events. 

Rick Chace Foundation Scholarship
This scholarship supports full-time graduate students in fields related to moving image archiving, including museum studies. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate a strong academic record and commitment to the field. International students are welcome to apply.

Lemelson Center Fellowship Program
Offered through the Smithsonian Institution, this fellowship supports innovative research on invention and innovation in American history. Fellows have access to the Smithsonian’s research staff and collections, and projects may lead to publications, exhibits, or educational initiatives.

Smithsonian Postgraduate Fellowship in Conservation
Designed for recent graduates in art or archaeological conservation, this fellowship offers hands-on training and research opportunities in Smithsonian conservation labs. Postdoctoral applicants and conservation scientists are also eligible.
